Jowai, Jan 6: With the coming of the third wave of  COVID-19, the Jaiñtia Students Movement (JSM) Western Region, on Thursday met the Deputy Commissioner, West Jaiñtia Hills, Garod LSN Dykes to enquire about the construction of the Prefab Hospital in Jowai.

Talking to the President of the JSM, Western Region, Ribok Biam reminded that on June 11, 2021, chief minister Conrad Sangma had informed about the plans of constructing the 50 bedded Prefab Hospital at Jowai.

Biam informed that the Deputy Commissioner had promised to follow up on the matter in view of the third wave in consultation with the Health Department.
