“Kilometre Zero”, blends artistry with culinary delight, aims to reduce carbon footprints

Shillong, May 13: “Kilometre Zero”, a unique experience, blended artistry, sustainability, and culinary creativity. The program was held at Linsamer farms, Kyrdemkulai, on Saturday.

The event was a fusion of local cuisines and artistic expressions, aimed at fostering a deeper connection with nature. Led by culinary experts Chef Ahme and Chef Dalarympei, the participants embarked on a culinary journey and explored the rich biodiversity of Linsamer Farms.

The event showcased responsible source practices, reducing our carbon footprint, while celebrating the beautiful connection between nature and creativity.

In addition to gastronomic exploration, participants engaged in therapeutic art activities led by Maya-ika, fostering unity and self-expression through collective endeavours like mural-making.

Participants were also offered seed papers to symbolize renewal and transformation, planting seeds of change as a part of activity.
