Imphal, Dec 7: The Kuki-Zo bodies of Manipur’s Kangpokpi celebrated the victory of Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) leader Lalduhoma in the recently concluded Mizoram Assembly polls.

Congratulating the ZPM leader and his party on clinching a historic victory, the Kangpokpi Town Committee, the Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization, and the Kangpokpi Youth Union organized a celebration party at the office of the Town Committee’s office on Thursday.

The Kuki-Zo bodies of Kangpokpi also congratulated the people of Mizoram for their efforts in forming a people’s Government in Mizoram.

The Kuki-Zo bodies of Kangpokpi also blessed the ZPM leader and his colleagues and prayed that the new Mizoram Government under the leadership of Lalduhoma be a blessing for all the Kuki-Zo kindred tribes.

While congratulating Lalduhoma, the Kuki-Zo bodies of Kangpokpi wished the ZPM leader a good health and wisdom to form and lead a new Government that can be a good shepherd of the Kuki-Zo kindred tribes.
