Tura, Oct 12: Mark Pantora M. Sangma has been conferred with the Travel Experience Award and was also nominated for Best Travel Entrepreneur at the prestigious Northeast India Tourism Awards (NEITA) 2025 in RADISSON BLU GUWAHATI.

The Northeast India Tourism Awards is a pioneering initiative by the Emerging Northeast Eco Forum (ENEEF), a platform committed to fostering sustainable development, cultural preservation, and innovation in Northeast India. NEITA 2025 marks the inaugural edition of this prestigious awards program, exclusively dedicated to honouring excellence in the region’s diverse and dynamic tourism sector.

Envisioned as the “Oscars of Northeast Tourism”, NEITA aims to recognize and reward the visionaries, innovators, and changemakers who are transforming Northeast India into a world-class travel destination. From content creators and eco-resorts to tour operators and grassroots community leaders, NEITA brings together the entire tourism ecosystem on one prestigious platform.

This initiative is more than just an award, it is a movement to spotlight Northeast India as a global example of conscious, creative, and impactful tourism.

Speaking to Hub News, Mark Pantora M. Sangma expressed his happiness and gratitude upon receiving the award. He said he feels proud and honoured to showcase the beauty of Garo Hills to the rest of the world. He also extended his heartfelt thanks to the Nongalbibra Tourism Society, specially acknowledging Digros D. Shira and Walten Marak for their continuous support and contribution.
