Guwahati, Dec 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday held a special Pariksha Pe Charcha session with school students aboard a cruise vessel on the Brahmaputra during his two-day visit to Assam.
The interaction on the second day of his visit focused on exam stress, confidence-building, and academic concerns.
Twenty-five students from schools across Assam took part in the session.
The event was held on the three-deck cruise vessel MV Charaidew 2. Officials said the Prime Minister spent around 45 minutes with the students while the vessel sailed from the Guwahati Gateway Terminal, the newly inaugurated Inland Water Transport (IWT) facility.
The mid-river setting made the session stand out, offering students an unusual setting to speak directly with the Prime Minister about their exam-related worries and goals. Officials described the interaction as meaningful and encouraging.
