Shillong, Dec 01: Mebanrilang Lyngdoh Marshillong, a teenager from New Nongstoiñ and a proud member of the Nongstoiñ Youth Calisthenics (NYC), has taken the internet by storm after a video captured by his friends displaying his jaw-dropping feat—a remarkable triple 360-degree spin—went viral. The particular video makes Mebanrilang an instant social media sensation.

The amazing video got a lot of people commenting and sharing, which made Mebanrilang really famous. The particular video was shared by other big media houses, both national and local. With his incredible self-taught talent, Mebanrilang is now set to switch to gymnastics as he earns an invitation from the Meghalaya Gymnastics Association to join their team and receive further training.

The talented 17-year-old is now preparing for an upcoming battle game in Guwahati on December 9. The team has been training diligently at a makeshift gym near the Nondein River, attracting many young people from the area and helping to steer them away from anti-social activities.

A video of Mebanrilang’s impressive calisthenics skills went viral on social media, catching the attention of the Meghalaya Gymnastics Association. Recognizing his potential, the association extended an invitation to the young athlete to join their gymnastics training program in Shillong.

The President of NYC, Aiborlang Marshillong, expressed his excitement about Mebanrilang’s selection, stating that it is a proud moment for the entire team. The manager of NYC, James Bond Lyngdoh, added that NYC was established in 2020, and witnessing the talent and dedication of these young boys has fueled their passion to support them wholeheartedly.
