Williamnagar, Sept 02: NPP’s Williamnagar unit celebrated its 11th Foundation Day and 76th Birth Anniversary of (L) P. A. Sangma on September 01, 2023 at Party Head Quarters at Kusimkolgre A, Williamnagar.

As a mark of respect and to commemorate the day, the party organized a cleaning drive in Williamnagar town, starting at 6 AM.

Party supporters came out in large numbers to join the cause for a cleaner and greener town. After the cleaning drive, the main programme was held at the party office.

All the party supporters from nook and corner of Williamnagar attended the programme to celebrate the foundation day and to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of NPP founder Late P. A. Sangma.

District President Benedict K. Sangma was the chief guest on the occasion, since the local MLA and PHE Minister Marcuise Marak is out of station. Sangma also hoisted the party flag followed by paying homage to P.A. Sangma by the lighting of candles in-front of his portrait.
