SHILLONG, APR 29: The National People’s Youth Front (NPYF), Nartiang constituency, has commended the NPP-led state government and Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma for launching CM-INSPIRE, a scheme aimed at supporting UPSC aspirants from Meghalaya.
In a statement on Wednesday, the youth wing hailed and expressed gratitude to the NPP-led state government and Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma for launching the CM-INSPIRE for helping UPSC aspirants from Meghalaya.
The NPYF said the initiative reflects the government’s understanding of challenges faced by civil service aspirants in the state.
“This shows that the government understands the problems faced by such aspirants,” it noted.
Calling it a forward-looking move, the unit said, “The government’s decision is farsighted and is preparing future leaders of the state.”
The organisation expressed confidence that the scheme would directly address key barriers for candidates.
“With the support extended through CM-INSPIRE, we have no doubt that this will address the problems faced by aspirants from the state,” the statement read.
NPYF Nartiang also assured cooperation in extending the scheme’s reach.
“We are working together with the government to ensure awareness of the scheme reaches all,” it added.
CM-INSPIRE is designed to provide financial and academic assistance to UPSC aspirants from Meghalaya, with the goal of improving the state’s representation in the civil services.
