Shillong, Jan 12: The National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) on Tuesday along with the National Youth Awardees presented Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma with few suggestions on the State Youth Policy of Meghalaya.

Nicky Nongkhlaw, National Working President of the NPYF along with the Awardees presented the Policy to the CM. The State Youth Policy aims at achieving a sustainable, dynamic, secure, peaceful, and prosperous future for the youth of the State in particular.

The Policy is a sincere forerunner, propeller, and reminder to enable the youth to steer their ships and to chart their course and determine their destiny within the aspirational parameters of the vision of our geographical and cultural identity. The presented Youth Policy also seeks to form a performing task force to act in a time-bound manner and on an inclusive and consultative mode.

The National People’s Youth Front has expressed their commitment to empowering young people and their work towards the upliftment of the youth, particularly those of our State.
