As part of the golden jubilee celebration of Diocese of Tura, a Marian procession was taken out from Sacred Heart Shrine till Don Bosco School field in Tura on Saturday. Over a thousand people took part on the procession which included all the Bishops, Fathers, Sisters, men, women and children from the community.

West Garo Hills police had made elaborate traffic arrangements for the day in Tura to ensure that the celebrations do not obstruct or cause inconvenience to the normal vehicular traffic movement in the town.
