PM releases election manifesto Sankalp Patra, promises reforms and national development

Guwahati, April 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with senior BJP leaders, launched the party’s Lok Sabha election manifesto, ‘Sankalp Patra,’ on Sunday. The document pledges comprehensive reforms and initiatives aimed at fostering national development and prosperity.

The key pledges in the manifesto is that BJP vows to enhance infrastructure along Indo-China, Indo-Pakistan, and Indo-Myanmar borders, leveraging technological solutions for smarter fencing.

Commitment to implement CAA and grant citizenship to eligible individuals. Pledge to enact UCC for gender equality, drawing upon traditional values and modern principles.


BJP aims to make simultaneous elections a reality, emphasizing the establishment of a High Powered Committee for implementation.

To strengthening institutions like IITs, IIMs, and AIIMS through funding and infrastructure upgrades.

Continued efforts for peace in the Northeast, including addressing issues in disturbed areas and resolving inter-state border disputes.

Aspirations for India to become the third-largest economic power, citing policy execution and planning.


Initiatives such as free ration under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and free electricity for poor households.

Infrastructure development for women’s participation in the workforce, expansion of health services, and representation in legislative bodies.

Increased MSP on crops, financial assistance under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, and the launch of Krishi Infrastructure Mission and Krishi Satellite.
