Shillong, Aug 7: A Good Day For Congress after Lok Sabha Secretariat on Monday restored the membership of Former Congress president, Rahul Gandhi as a Wayanad MP.

This good news comes on the 13th day of the Parliament Monsoon Session 2023.

The war of words between Congress and leaders of BJP finally came to an end on Friday after Supreme Court stayed Rahul Gandhi’s conviction in the criminal defamation case over his statement on ‘Modi Surname’ remark that he had made during the 2019 elections.

Following SC’s judgement, Congress leaders celebrated and expressed their joy calling it “victory of love.”

4th, Aug, 2023: Supreme Court granted interim relief to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and stayed his conviction in his 2019 Modi Surname defamation case.
