Shillong, Feb 17: The report of the expert committee on Meghalaya State Reservation Policy will be tabled during the current Assembly’s budget session for consideration.

Announcing this after the cabinet meeting on Monday, Cabinet Minister Wailadmiki Shylla said,

“The cabinet has approved the proposal for consideration of the report… it will be tabled on Wednesday on the floor of the house,” Shylla said, declining to reveal details ahead of the Assembly presentation.

“Until before that, I cannot say anything.”
