Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Tuesday inaugurated three major community assets in Nongkseh — the Artificial Turf Football Ground with Sitting Gallery, the Basketball Court and the Mushroom Cultivation Project — marking a significant boost to sports infrastructure and sustainable livelihoods in the area.
As part of government’s push to create important sports infrastructures in rural parts of Meghalaya, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Friday laid the Foundation Stone for Artificial Football Turf at Riangdo Playground in West Khasi Hills.
