Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday said discussions with Assam on the second phase of border talks to resolve the remaining six areas of difference will be taken up shortly, once the new government in Assam is sworn in.
The Dorbar Shnong of Mukroh has submitted a memorandum to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking a CBI investigation into the November 22, 2022-incident in which five residents were killed in Assam police firing.
