Special Investigation Team ( SIT) head Munna Prasad Gupta on Saturday underlined that Indian authorities cannot independently investigate cases in foreign jurisdictions, stressing that any overseas probe must adhere to the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) framework.
