The Rural Women Upliftment Society (RWUS) held a two-day free medical checkup camp in Churachandpur, Manipur, providing crucial healthcare services to over 226 displaced individuals who are currently staying in different camps due to the ongoing ethnic violence.
Dev said that people of all communities are annoyed with the Central and state government as the governments have totally failed to control the situation despite 60,000 Central forces deployed in the state.
The meeting was attended by the tribal MLAs like Chinlunthang from Singngat, Letzamang Haokip from Henglep and Ngursanglur from Tipaimukh and all tribe recognised leaders, student, Civil society groups, Community and philanthropic organisation leaders .
Days after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Manipur visit, Indian Youth Congress president Srinivas BV on Thursday visited violence-hit State's Churachandpur district and took stock of the ongoing violence in the state.
