The Cyber Police Station of the Crime Investigation Department (CID), Assam, has swung into action following an FIR filed by Dr. Sadagar Deuri, a senior surgeon and Professor of Surgery at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH), who was targeted by a sophisticated ‘digital arrest’ cyber scam.
