A group of nurses in Meghalaya filed a formal complaint with the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. M. Ampareen Lyngdoh, on Friday regarding the recent announcement of vacancies for contractual nurses.

Speaking at an election meeting in Jalaphet, East Jaintia Hills with Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, cabinet Minister in Conrad Sangma led ruling Meghalaya government, Ampareen said, “I will work in close coordination with the Dollois, the Waheh Chnong (headmen) to understand their problems and raise it in the Parliament”.
