A six-member Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) on Sunday began its on-ground assessment of Assam's flood devastation with a visit to Charaideo district, one of the worst-hit regions, as the Centre evaluates the scale of damage for relief and rehabilitation assistance.
