The National People’s Party (NPP) National President and Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma, today addressed a massive election rally at Bamunigaon under the 28–Boko Chaygaon (ST) constituency in Assam, seeking support for party candidate Ganseng B. Sangma.
In an organisational reshuffle ahead of political developments in the region, the National People’s Party (NPP) has appointed senior leader Mmhonlumo Kikon as its new National General Secretary (Political) with immediate effect.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has rubbished allegations of financial mismanagement, saying the state government has spent a record Rs 23,496 crores till December this financial year.
