The Meghalaya government on Wednesday honoured 203 meritorious students with laptops at the Meghalaya IT Awards 2026, with Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma using the occasion to underline the state’s growing ambitions in the digital and innovation space.
The Meghalaya SSA Schools Association (MSSASA) will hold its general body meeting at Malki ground on October 6 to discuss the various pending demands that include regularisation of the services of over 14000 SSA teachers in the state.
