Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on Friday informed that the State government will next week meet to discuss the queries of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) with regards to the Meghalaya Residents, Safety and Security (Amendment) Bill, 2020.
He said the state government had assured setting up of an entry point at Umling in Ri Bhoi District to check illegal influx entering the state but ironically “the said entry point is now being turned into a Covid testing centre”.
