Meghalaya marked National Sports Day with a state-wide celebration that honoured 136 athletes and 22 coaches who participated in the recent 6th Meghalaya Games. On the occasion, the government also distributed cheques worth ₹45 lakh to 103 beneficiaries under its flagship YESS Meghalaya initiative.
