Speaking to reporters, Tynsong said, “I did a review meeting with the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) and all concerned departments for Shillong-Dawki road and for Shillong Western Bypass and right now everything is on track.”
The alignment of Pynursla Bypass under the package-III of the Shillong-Dawki road project could not be finalized due to objections raised by local people.
The Deputy Chief Minister incharge PWD (Roads), Prestone Tynsong informed on Monday that work orders for package - 1, 2, and 4 of the Shillong-Dawki road have been issued and work is set to resume shortly.
