Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Monday visited the Shillong Government College of Engineering, which received the approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for starting undergraduate courses in civil engineering and electrical engineering for the academic year 2025-26.
Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Tuesday informed the Assembly that the government is waiting for the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for starting the academic session of the Shillong Government College of Engineering (SGCE) at Mawlai Kynton Massar.
Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Wednesday said the government is in the process of making the Shillong Engineering College, which is the first in the state, functional at the earliest.
