The Inter Mahari Football 2023 2nd Round matches which took place on Monday left the spectators at the edge of their seats. The eagerly awaited match of the second round commenced at 2 pm, featuring a face off between Guri and Mankin Mahari.
After a four-day hiatus due to the Section 144 CrPC restrictions imposed by the district administration in Tura, the eagerly anticipated Inter-Mahari Football Tournament resumed with fervour at the Chandmari football field in Tura, West Garo Hills.

A day after Section 144 CrPC was withdrawn from in and around Tura town, the West Garo Hills district administration has decided to also withdraw the night curfew that has been in place for the past four nights, since Monday.
Following the violence, police have managed to bring the situation under control and arrested atleast 19 people, identified through video recordings and eye witness accounts, in connection with instigating the violence.
