Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills Jagdish Chelani has urged the parents not to allow their children below 18 years and who do not have a proper driving license issued by competent authority to drive vehicles.
The order said that goods carriage vehicles with more than 9 MT carrying capacity are strictly prohibited from entering the Tura Municipal Area at all times, except on permission from District administration.
Amidst concerns over the alarming frequency of accidents involving dumper trucks in Tura, Dr Aswagosh asserted that stringent measures have been implemented within the police force.
