Tura, June 12: Music became a medium for spreading awareness against substance abuse as students from across Tura participated in an inter-school group singing competition organised under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) campaign on Friday.

The event, jointly organised by the District Social Welfare Department, West Garo Hills, and Tura Music Academy at the Pastoral Centre, Walbakgre, brought together young performers who used music and creativity to promote the message of a drug-free society.

The competition aimed to engage youth in positive and constructive activities while creating awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of healthy lifestyles.
