Two shops, 4 scooters burned; concerns rise over city’s law and order

Must read

Shillong, Dec 28: Two shops and four scooters were burnt in a fire incident in the Jhalupara area of the city late on Thursday night. The incident occurred in the Dhobi Tola area of Jhalupara.

However, it is yet to be determined whether the fire was intentional or due to other reasons.

According to information from sources, there is suspicion that the same group of anti-social elements, who recently burnt several scooters in the Mawprem area, might be involved in this incident. This pattern of incidents seems to persist, with these miscreants possibly attempting to create chaos in areas beyond Mawprem. This escalating trend has raised concerns about deteriorating law and order in the city.
