Tura, Jan 22: Frontline workers from Chokpot health center has become the first in South Garo Hills to receive the covid vaccine.

According to the District medical department, 39 out of 54 registered staff took the vaccine and included doctors nurses and other staff.

This is the first vaccination in South Garo Hills.

The next vaccination against Covid is due to be organized at Baghmara civil hospital next week.
