Guwahati, June 11: A 24-year-old woman from Nazira in Assam was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, late on the night of June 10. The deceased has been identified as Shivali Kashyap, who was working for a private company in the city.

According to reports, Shivali was on a call with her mother until 12:34 AM. Less than 30 minutes later, around 1:00 AM, her family received a devastating call informing them of her death.

Her boyfriend, Saurav Purohit, reportedly told the family that she had died after “falling from a building.” However, the family has expressed strong doubts over his version of events and suspects foul play.

Shivali’s brother has rushed to Ahmedabad following the incident. The family has urged the local police to conduct a thorough investigation, particularly examining the boyfriend’s possible involvement in the case.

Ahmedabad police have initiated a probe into the matter.
