Shillong, May 18: The North East International Fashion Show will host the first ever audition on May 27 at Shillong Club for young boys and girls, plus-sized people, and married women to showcase their talents and get recognition from the platform.
This fashion show is designed by Prashant Ghosh and co-ordinated by Sweety Pala. The selected models will be groomed and will walk the ramp fashion in September at Guwahati.
Speaking to media personnel here on Wednesday, Model and entrepreneur Eve Syiemlieh said, “The platform will benefit the people of the state who have interest in modelling. There will be international and national models. There will be no height criteria for teens and boys/girls.”
Mega Miss Northeast 2012, Preeti Thapa said that the selected candidate will get to represent the state to the 7th Season of the North East International Fashion Show that will be held at Guwahati. Thapa informed that the dress code for this audition is white t-shirt and blue jean, with no age limit.
Thapa said that this fashion show that will help young boys & girls, Male & Female models and married women to showcase their talents and get recognition from the platform. This fashion show will give the model the platform to boost their confident and get to explore to the fashion industry.
She informed that the registration fee will be Rs 300. The minimum height for the Mrs Category is 5.3 feet and for males is 5.5 feet.
