Shillong, Mar 5: The City Police recovered the body of a man reportedly missing for five days on Tuesday from underneath the Umshyrpi Bridge, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Jhalupara Police Outpost, Shillong.

The man, identified as Kynsailin K Phanbuh, was reported missing on March 1.

Phanbuh is a resident of Lummawbah, Upper Shillong.

Phanbuh body was spotted by locals who were searching for him since he was reported missing from home. They spotted the lifeless body of Phanbuh underneath the Umshyrpi bridge.

Subsequently, the locals after spotting the body informed the police and they rushed to the scene to recover the body.
