Tura, Jan 18: Following receipt of information about a woman lying lifeless in the market area of Garobadha town, 35 kms from Tura, police retrieved a body on Monday.

The victim has been identified as Tuwin G Sangma, around middle-aged, known to be a chronic alcoholic and ill for a long time in the Nakam Bazar of Garobadha town.

Accordingly, officer in charge of Garobada station arrived at the spot and conducted an inquest to ensure no foul play is suspected.
