Mumbai, Sept 20: The Bombay High Court has granted bail to Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra in the pornography case with a surety of Rs 50,000.

The businessman is expected to walk out of jail on Tuesday morning at around 10.30 am.

On September 16,  2021, the Mumbai Police had filed a 1,400-page charge sheet in Court listing charges against Raj. On September 18, Raj’s legal representative moved a bail application in Bombay High Court, claiming that there was not a single evidence in the supplementary charge sheet of him being actively involved in the pornography industry.

Kundra was arrested on July 19, 2021 under the relevant sections of the IPC, CrPC and the Information Technology Act. He has been under Judicial Custody for more than two months.
