Tura, Sept 30: Garo Hills bodybuilder Bonjovy Ch Marak delivered a standout performance in two major bodybuilding events in Meghalaya this month.

At the NPC Regional Bodybuilding Championship, organised by the Meghalaya Strength Aesthetic Association (MSAA) on September 20, Marak secured Gold in the Men’s Physique Tall category (above 170 cm) and Silver in the Men’s Classic Physique Tall category (above 170 cm).

He went on to dominate the Mr Ironman Amateur Championship 2025, hosted by the Jaintia Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (JBBA), winning Gold in both the Men’s Physique Tall and Bodybuilding above 75 kg categories.

Marak, coached by Bransley D. Nongkynrih at Iron House Gym, Shillong, competed in events held in Shillong and Tura.
