Tura, May 30: A few shops were destroyed in a fierce fire that broke out at Dakopgre, near the petrol pump in Tura, West Garo Hills on Tuesday morning.

The place is close to the CRPF camp. The incident occurred during the rush hour for schools.

No human injuries reported.

But gas cylinders and other items inside the shops were destroyed.
