Shillong, Sept 12: The Employment Exchange offices in the various districts in the state have managed to secure only three job placements in regular government jobs over the past three years.

Of this, 2 job placements were made in 2023, 1 in 2024 and zero in 2025.

This dismal performance comes despite the presence of 13 Employment Exchange offices across the state, staffed by 103 regular employees.

This was informed by Labour Minister Shakliar Warjri in his reply tabled in the Assembly on Friday.
