Tura, Feb 10: Today in another milestone for Garo Hills Police in particular and Meghalaya Police as a whole, the first-ever Drone Control Centre was inaugurated in Tura, in the Superintendent of Police Office of West Garo Hills District by R. Chandranathan, IPS, Meghalaya Director General of Police in the presence of DIG(W/R), all SPs and Commandants of Garo Hills.

This Drone Control Centre will benefit West Garo Hills District in Traffic Regulation, Law & Order, Search & Rescue, Surveillance, among other issues concerning police and public.
