Shillong, May 2: The Hynniewtrep Integrated Territorial Organization (HITO), Jaintia Hills, on Monday locked the Jio office at Jowai after they failed to fix the network problem.

The HITO Jaintia Hills under the leadership of its president, Lawyerson War, and organizing secretary, Iomiki Passah, locked the Jio office in Jowai after the office had assured to fix the network issues in 3 days.

War said the organization has decided to close down all the towers which includes the newly constructed ones at all the areas in Jaintia hills.

War reminded that after the complaints from people on the network issues on April 28 this year, the organization had submitted the memorandum to the Manager of Jio and the manager had given an assurance to fix the problem in 3 days time.
