Tripura, Apr 3: The CPIM candidate representing the INDIA bloc Rajendra Reang on Tuesday submitted his nomination paper before Dhalai District magistrate Saju Wahid for the East Tripura parliamentary constituency.

A massive rally was organised by his supporters where INDIA bloc partners with their members accompanied him to District magistrate office.

Prominent CPIM leaders, including Opposition Leader Jitendra Choudhury, Left Front convenor and former MP Narayan Kar, former Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar, and other leaders from CPI, RSP, and Forward Block accompanied him.

Talking to media persons, the INDIA bloc candidate Rajendra Reang said, “we are getting a good response from the people. We are hopeful that we will win the upcoming Lok Sabha elections”.

He said that there is the unwavering support and commitment from the public in the INDIA block’s ability to secure victory in the upcoming elections to safeguard democracy and uphold the constitution.
