Guwahati, Jan 13: The festive season of Magh Bihu, also known as Bhogali Bihu, is right around the corner. Magh Bihu is celebrated with in the first month of the year, this harvest festival holds various names across the nation, such as Pongal in Tamil Nadu, Lohri in Punjab, Makar Sankranti in the northern regions, and Magh Bihu in Assam.
As per the Bengali Panjika, Magh Bihu is observed on the first day of the Magh month, falling on January 16, according to Drik Panchang.
