Shillong, Mar 6: Rangsakona legislator Subir Marak inaugurated a new Lower Primary school building and digital library at Damalgre LP School on Friday, calling the project a step toward stronger rural education in South West Garo Hills.

“The government remains committed to ensuring students in remote areas get better infrastructure and digital resources,” he said.

Project Director Raymond ZD Shira, also the district’s additional deputy commissioner, stressed that “quality education, improved facilities and community participation” are key to shaping students’ futures.
Block Development Officer Cheman D Shira welcomed guests as pupils sang a welcome song.
The District School Education Officer, Ampati, closed the event with thanks to all involved.
