Tura, March 2: The Meghalaya State Skills Development Society (MSSDS) is rolling out Phase II of its recruitment drives across the Garo Hills region in March 2026, strengthening its outreach to ensure that more blocks and communities are covered under this statewide employment facilitation initiative.
Candidates who registered during Phase I are informed that they do not need to register again.
They are advised to stay connected and follow official updates regarding venue schedules and employer participation. The recruitment drives are completely free of cost.
The drives are open to a wide range of eligible candidates, including those who have completed Class 10, Class 12, ITI, diploma courses, or graduation.
Opportunities will span local, national, and overseas placements across multiple sectors, providing structured pathways for employment and career advancement.
The district-wise schedule for the Garo Hills region is as follows:
In East Garo Hills, the drives will be held on March 6, 2026, at the Samanda C&RD Block Office and on March 10, 2026, at the Songsak C&RD Block Office. Enquiries may be made at 80141 40721.
In North Garo Hills, the drive will take place on March 11, 2026, at the Kharkutta Reserve Gittim Community Hall. For further details, candidates may contact 70051 94300.
In South Garo Hills, the drive is scheduled for March 9, 2026, at the Chokpot Block Office. Enquiries may be directed to 60095 97258.
In South West Garo Hills, the drive will be held on March 10, 2026, at Acheng Rangmanpa College, Mahendraganj. Candidates in SWGH may contact +91 70852 92475.
In West Garo Hills, the drives will be conducted on March 3, 2026, at the Tikrikilla Old Block Office; March 5, 2026, at the Phulbari Shymnagar Community Hall; March 7, 2026, at the Rajabala Higher Secondary School compound; and March 9, 2026, at the Bakdil Office Conference Hall, Chandmari, Tura.
