PM Modi lays base for EMRS in North Garo Hills village

Resubelpara, Oct 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually laid the foundation stone for Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Radi Village, Resubelpara, North Garo Hills on Wednesday.

The foundation stone ceremony for Eklavya Model Residential School for Radi Village, North Garo Hills was part of the 25 EMRSs across the country which were laid digitally by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Hazaribagh, Jharkand.

Out of the 25 Eklavya Model Residential Schools, 9 were allocated for Meghalaya State across various C&RD Blocks. 3 EMRSs foundation stone were laid in South Garo Hills district, 2 in West Khasi Hills and 1 each in West Garo Hills, North Garo Hills, South West Garo Hills and Eastern West Khasi Hills respectively.

In Resubelpara, the laying of foundation stone for Radi Eklavya Model Residential School were witnessed in Resubelpara NIC conference hall which were attended by officials of District Administration in the presence of ADCs Tennystar Marak, Kapil Koch, Florina Boro, ACs Verdi Sangma, Liam TG Momin and other officials of various line departments beside students of various schools.
