Shillong, Oct 22: The Risyon Sports Club Shillong unveiled its official club and football team jerseys on Wednesday in Shillong.

The jersey launch is part of the club’s preparation for the upcoming Captain Williamson Ampang Sangma Football Memorial Trophy 2025 in Baghmara, South Garo Hills.

The event was graced by Jinysha D. Maiong, President and Managing Director of the club; Eddyson Sohkhlet, Head Coach and Soniland Malai, Executive Coordinator of HID Foundation Shillong, along with club officials and players.

Speaking at the launch, Maiong urged players to remain united and work hard to uplift the team’s spirit and performance.

The club will make its tournament debut against Aginma Football Club on November 1, in Baghmara.

Head Coach Eddyson Sohkhlet said the team is fully prepared for the competition despite possible weather challenges, expressing confidence in their ability to perform well.
