Sarbananda Sonowal Visits BJP Party Office in Guwahati after Ministry Charge

Guwahati, June 16: Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal visited the BJP’s head office in Guwahati on Saturday evening. This marked his first visit since assuming his ministerial role.

Speaking to the media after his visit, Sonowal expressed his dedication to the party, he stated that , “I am a BJP worker and being a BJP worker, it is my duty to come to my party office. The support from the party has given me courage and confidence, which helped me win the elections this time. The Chief Minister of Assam has specially thanked me for my contributions, and I also extend my gratitude for the work done under his leadership.”

Sonowal highlighted the efforts of party workers, emphasizing their hard work in securing a significant victory for the NDA in Assam. “For the first time, we secured 11 out of 14 seats,” he added. He attributed the success to the inclusive development policy, “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past decade. “The country under Modi’s leadership will be at the forefront economically in the next five years,” he added.
