SHILLONG, FEB 25: Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said that the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination 2026 will be held in the month of December, this year.
In a reply tabled in the Assembly on Wednesday, Rymbui said the state government had decided t conduct the SSLC examination for 2025 in the month of December to end the curriculum within one calendar year.
However, due to request from the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE), citing reasons that it is not conducive to have the SSLC examination in December 2025, the exam was deferred to January 2026.
