Urging citizens not to panic, Lyngdoh said, “The Covid that we all remember in 2019-20 etc was a situation which stormed all nations, all countries, all states but now things are not like that. Covid of this day is a covid that can be dealt with by health machineries in various states of the country.”

“Do not create a panic which is not necessary and like we said resort to all covid protocols if any citizens have any inclination or is observing any covid symptoms, isolate yourself, have medication on time, all covid protocols to be followed and we will be able to handle the situation together with the state machineries,” she added.

Asked, the minister said, “Testing or no testing citizens of today are very familiar with covid protocols. If you have a doubt and if your symptoms does not subside in a few days as in 72 hours or more you know best what to do. We do not need to alert our systems and I do not believe that we should create a panic amongst citizens.”

“We are aware but if you panic a community then there is going to be problems and like I said the state is ready,” she stated further.
